Network Marketing | 3 Tips to Build a Bigger Team

Are you a network marketer looking to build a bigger team?


Than you’re in the right place. In this post I’m going to share with you 3 secrets to growing a bigger team using, social media. These tips are ones we personally used to grow our teams when we were actively building. And, these tips have also helped hundreds of my clients do the same.

Now, some of this was learned thanks to good ol’ trial and error the balance through mentors I have been so thankful to connect and work with. There are a couple goals to this;

  1. Recruiting customers and upgrading them to business builders and/or,
  2. Recruiting new business builders


The following tips can be applied to either goal and I always suggest doubling down on your strengths while, strengthening perceived weaknesses.

  1. Am I committed to this business journey?
  2. Will I stay consistent in my efforts?
  3. How will I impact the customers and/or business builders I am looking to recruit?

Fun Fact: 80% of your focus should be on recruiting.


Look at your daily methods of operations. I assume, they involve creating new connections and content, engaging with your audience, personal development, etc. Now, consider how much of those efforts are recruiting focused (customer or business builder).

The goal is a bigger team, right? So, you need to ensure your efforts are predominately focused there. Otherwise, you will be spinning your wheels on other activities not facilitating this goal and wondering why nothing is working.

How Simple is your On-Boarding Process?


One of the biggest mistakes network marketers make when ‘signing up’ a new customer or business builder is overcomplicating the process. Imagine going from super excited to completely overwhelmed? That is how most of your new people are feeling.

The best part about this is that it’s something you CAN control.

Take time to create a simple process that new business builders can simply plug into and take action on. It’s possible your company offers an already done process or, reach out to your leaders in your company and ask them about their processes for new recruits.

If you want to build a bigger team it needs to be a simplified process. When it becomes complicated, overwhelming or even confusing — people don’t stick around long. The best thing for you to do is utilize and/or create a simple process that people can use over and over again as they grow.
