Over the course of these first few weeks into the New Year, I have learned incredible tips from 8 network marketing leaders. And, in this post I am going to share with you my biggest takeaways. These are leaders who have a combined month commission of more than $500,000.

You will probably agree with me that they have figured a few things out, right?

Regardless of where you are starting or even where you are right now, these tips when executed in your own business can, be the game changer.

Belief in possibility goes a long way. What is important to remember is set your goals that suit your needs (and wants). For some people numbers like 6 figure months are terrifying and I get that. So while executing these tips in your own business focus on the people, the strategy and the implementation more than the outcome.

When we keep focused on tasks at hands and goals in mind the income will follow — whatever that looks like for you.

Let’s dive in.

Tip #1 — Brand yourself, not your company.

Take a few months and scroll your timeline. Is your content saying more about your company (products and services) than it is about you? Many people confuse the 2, unfortunately. Try to keep this at the forefront; we are in a people business. And, people join people not companies.

Spend more time allowing your audience to getting to know you. Branding isn’t just about the visual either. In fact, it has everything to do with you and your message to the world.

Tip #2 — Your focus, matters. 

Feeling overwhelmed? Pulled in way too many directions? These top network marketing leaders all shared the same outlook on this. Focus on a maximum of 4 to 5 core things at a time. There is minimal sense in filling your plate with dozens of different tasks because, they’ll never be done exceptionally well. You and your business deserve to be exceptional.

Hearing this always reminds me of the saying ‘Jack of all Trades and Master of None’.

Tip #3 — Genuine relationships will prevail. 

As I mentioned above and reinforced by one of these network marketing leaders was that relationships need to be the forefront. And more than that, genuine ones. Whether this be your prospects, friends, family or otherwise keep these relationships and their authenticity at the forefront of your prospecting and recruiting.

In doing so, those relationships can absolutely, and have a better chance of doing so, convert into sales or new distributors in the long run for you.

Tip #4 — Seek to understand people and their personality types.
